Tekken 3 contains all modes of Tekken 2. Time attack, team battle, practice mode and survival mode is all there, and have not changed a bit. Tekken Force mode four is a side-scrolling levels pits players against the way tons of ninjas. While it seems a very clear idea, in practice Tekken Force mode is not as great. You can waltz right through the four levels very easily using just the right touch button. Full Force mode four times, and you'll unlock Dr. Boskonovitch, one of two PlayStation game, only characters. Tekken Ball mode draws a line in the sand and turns the fighting game in a crazy version of volleyball. Players bat a beach ball back and forth with the attacks. Hitting the ball with a special attack transfers the energy of the attack on the ball, giving it an eerie glow. If the opponent is beaten to the ball, which takes damage.
If a player drops the ball, which takes damage there. Theater mode lets you see all the Tekken 3 FMV sequences that you've unlocked so far. It also lets you pop in Tekken 2 and check out all the FMV of there, too. The gameplay is identical to the gallery. Every move, combo, and the character has been transferred over, and a couple of new characters have also been added. Said Dr. Boskonovitch is the scientist who appears in Yoshimitsu Tekken 2 final. Unfortunately, the good doctor has suffered some injuries to the spinal very bad and unable to stand for more than a few seconds. It must be fought from the beginning with all sorts of strange kicking attacks. Gon is a tiny dinosaur from a Japanese comic. He breathes fire, electrifies his body, and passes gas. Gon members are so short, you're never quite sure where his attacks are coming from.
Both characters PlayStation exclusive are a waste of space. Dr. B is a bit interesting, but Gon simply has no place in the game at all. Every time someone picks Gon, it just makes me want to not play that game, but I just feel like the game was off. Tekken 3 is presented very well. The sound effects are amazing and the music is nothing short of amazing. From a visual standpoint, Tekken 3 can not be beat. While the number of polygons may have been slightly reduced and the funds made 2D, it still looks absolutely incredible.
